Expressions of Interest for Australian Youth Olympic Games Team 2010 sailing coach

Yachting Australia is calling for expressions of interest for a sailing coach for the Australian Team for the Youth Olympic Games to be held in Singapore from 14-26 August 2010.
This is the inaugural Youth Olympic Games. Australia has qualified a boy and a girl in the Byte CII competition.
Requirements
The appointed coach will be required to participate in the following activities:
- communicate with the selected athletes and their coaches in the lead up to the YOG
- attend the pre-Games training and preparation camp in Sydney on 11-12 August 2010
- travel to and from Singapore with the Team
- provide coaching support at the Youth Olympic Games
Selection Criteria
- Must hold a minimum, current NCAS Level 1 Sailing Coach accreditation or an equivalent international qualification
- Must have passed a ‘Working With Children Check’
- Must hold a current Power Boat Licence
- Current involvement in state or national youth program and/or activities
- Consideration will be given to previous international regatta experience
Remuneration
This is a volunteer position however the Australian Olympic Committee will manage and fund the Australian Youth Olympic Team travel to Singapore for the YOG.
